Weddings @ Gateway

It is a privilege to share in this joyous occasion with you.  Marriage is an institution created by God, that when entered into is for life.  It is our desire to give you the some tools that will ensure both a happy marriage and one that will last forever.

Mutual Agreement:

• The couple and the Pastor will decide after the pre-marriage counseling if both parties wish to proceed.  The right and agreement to marry a couple is reserved until the couple has completed the pre-marriage counseling.

Requirements:

• Couple secures marriage license
• A $50 non-refundable application fee for members and a $75 non-refundable application fee for non-members will be secured before marriage counseling begins.
• A phone call or email confirming availability for the wedding date for one of our Pastors
• A mininum of 2 ½  hours of pre-marital counseling is required for one of our Pastors to marry anyone.
• An understanding that this is a Christian wedding
• A rehearsal at the location of the wedding with wedding party
• A  completed General Information form should be completed by the first pre-marriage counseling session.
• The wedding ceremony

Cost:

• FOR MEMBERS:  The Pastoral Staff does not charge a fee abovc the $50 application fee.  An honorarium should be given to the Pastor/Wedding Officiant for his time and services. 
• FOR NON_MEMBERS:  A $250 fee for all of the above services.  Payment should be available at the pre-marriage counseling session upon mutual agreement to proceed.

Facility and Utility Fees:

• A Complete list of options will be made available to the couple during the application process.
